Description: This classic old inn—a mansard-roofed Maine beauty—has been serving dinner for a half century, and it sets a beautiful table, with candles, Blue Onion china, and flowers. Traditional fare with contemporary twists peppers the menu and comes in five courses. The chef here used to be at Jonathan’s, the much beloved eatery in Blue Hill. Try the prime rib, the Arctic char with tomato and pesto, or the wild salmon. On Thursdays in summer the inn serves a lobster bake on the beach. Very nice.
