Description: Located about 75 minutes by car from downtown Portland, Skydive New England offers jumps for both the beginner and the experienced adrenaline junkie. The skydive school has been in operation for more than 20 years and offers everything from tandem jumps (you and an instructor jump strapped to each other) to individual and group jumps (you’re on your own, baby). Jumps range from heights of 10,000 to 14,000 feet. Tandem skydives start at $199 per person and include instruction and equipment. A variety of individual and group jumps are also available at different prices, depending on time of day, type of jump, and gear rental. Skydive New England is also certified by the United States Parachute Association to offer skydiving classes, so you can learn to jump on your own.
