Description: The specialties at this excellent eatery are gourmet seafood and vegetarian fare, and people routinely make the 5-mile journey out of Bar Harbor to get a table here. An open and airy place, it tries to utilize seafood newly arrived from the boats and produce from its own gardens. The menu is witty and fun. Try the blueberry lavender soup, which comes chilled, or the squash blossoms stuffed with goat cheese. Entrees might include sautéed halibut in a Parmesan crust or salmon grilled over sweet corn bread pudding. Yum. Reservations are a good idea.
