Description: With its own tour boat, golf course, kayak and sailing lessons, fishing, evening theater—indeed, its own village—Sebasco is a full-service resort unlike most others in Maine. There are umpteen rooms here on the 550-acre compound, and they are divided into three types. There are 37 rooms in the Main Lodge, which, with its rocking chairs and screened-in porch, has an old-fashioned feel. Views here are of the village, the golf course, and Wat Tuh Lake (no lie). The four-story lighthouse, an unofficial sentinel built as a beacon for boaters by the resort’s original owner, has 10 more rooms, most with a grand prospect out over Casco Bay (those who don’t get a view with their room can take a peek out the cupola-like observation room at the top of the building). Then there are the 22 cottages, scattered here and there, many with kitchenettes and fireplaces and with as many as 10 bedrooms available, and the deluxe new Harbor Village Suites. Some cottages are sequestered away for privacy. There are packages available to take advantage of the three dining rooms.
