Description: Built in 1795, this straightforward two-story (plus) home was named after the Reverend Daniel Merrill, the first clergyman to serve the area. The townspeople had it constructed for the minister as part of his compensation package; today it serves as the local historical society and is open for tours. Open on Sunday in July and August from 2 to 4 p.m. Free.
