Description: Captain Satch McMahon and his sons Whit and Dennis welcome guests aboard a pair of vessels on a daily basis in summer: the Gath IV, a classic 34-foot lobster boat that does inshore runs for striped bass, and the India Marie, a 32-foot Cape Islander that heads offshore for cod. The most popular excursions are their four-hour ($70) and 6-hour ($85) inshore fishing expeditions, using light lines for stripers, mackerel, and bluefish, but they also do two-hour introductory outings as well as 10-hour marathons in the course of their season, which runs from the end of April through the end of October.
