Description: Bethel College offers a four-year liberal arts education with an evangelical Christian perspective. The Baptist General Conference created Bethel Seminary in 1871. Preceding Bethel College was a secondary academy and a junior college, before the liberal arts college was formed in 1948. Today Bethel University offers programs in more than 100 different fields, from art to youth ministry. It also offers graduate programs in many fields, including divinity, business administration, counseling psychology, education, nursing, and more. The Baptist seminary offers graduate degrees with various concentrations from M.A. and M.Div. (Master of Divinity) to D.Min. (Doctorate of Ministry).
