Description: In June 1999 the River City Rascals joined Frontier League play in a beautiful new ballpark with an old-time feel, T. R. Hughes Ballpark. Located in the Ozzie Smith Sports Complex in St. Charles County, the Rascals’ home turf is located about 35 miles west of downtown St. Louis. The stadium has 2,950 permanent seats and a grass berm and picnic area capable of holding an additional 2,200 fans. The Rascals offer a throwback to the old days of baseball, with lots of special events and activities included with the game. Ticket prices are under $10, and there’s usually a promotion or giveaway of some sort on any given night.
