Description: The Sports Commission hosts its annual Bank of America Baseball Forecast Luncheon in mid-January at the Millennium Hotel in downtown St. Louis. An off-season tradition here in Baseball City, USA, for more than a decade, this event gives fans a forum to hear insight from Cardinals management, media, and other insiders. Each year’s luncheon features a theme, based on the participants who will be attending. The event is part of the three-day Cardinals Care Winter Warm-Up, which benefits the philanthropic side of the St. Louis Cardinals organization that’s called Cardinals Care. The luncheon is almost always attended by the team manager and a number of top-name current and former Cardinals players. Members of the sports media are also on hand for the event, which features a three-course lunch and various attendance prizes. The cost is around $30.
