Description: St. Louis Children’s Hospital has been providing specialized care for children for more than a century and offers a full range of medical services, including pediatric cardiology and cardiothoracic surgery, pediatric organ transplants, cancer care, neurology, and neurosurgery. The hospital is affiliated with the Washington University School of Medicine, which is ranked as one of the top five medical schools in the country. St. Louis Children’s is a member of BJC Health Care, the first fully integrated health care system in the country to join an academic medical center with suburban-, rural-, and metropolitan-based health care facilities. Children’s also has stellar specialty facilities, including a comprehensive cerebral palsy center, the Cleft Palate and Craniofacial Deformities Institute, and the most active pediatric lung transplant program in the world.
