Description: A family restaurant at its heart, Pasta Amore E Fantasia is owned and operated by the Fascianellas: Leo is the chef; his wife, Pat, runs the front of the house; and their three children cook, clean, and work in the space. Lots of creative entrees dot the otherwise traditional Italian menu. The rice salad includes cold rice, eggs, capers, artichoke hearts, tuna, and tomatoes in an olive oil dressing; the house favorite Linguine Amore includes mussels, clams, halibut, salmon, shrimp, calamari, and scallops in spicy red seafood sauce. The rest of the menu includes the standards diners expect from Italian restaurants, and the space itself is the same: A mural of Sicily adorns one wall and the simple decor and separated bar area all add up to a casual, comfortable eatery.
