Description: This popular family resort, which is open during summer and for portions of spring and fall, is a beehive of activity during the summer months. I strongly recommend making reservations far in advance if you plan on staying during July and August. A $4 million renovation has added significant improvements to the campground, including larger spaces, underground utilities, cable TV, and telephone service. Sites are available for both tents and RV campers, with full hookups, flush toilets, showers, and piped water. RV sites have a second line dedicated to Internet service. Other amenities include a mini-mart, horseback riding, snowmobiles, lake cruises, a swimming beach, and restaurants. Pets are allowed on leashes. Call for rates.
