The Commission on Higher Education of the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools accredits Briarcliff College. This commission is an institutional accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education and the Commission on Higher Education Accreditation. The New York State Board of Regents also authorizes Briarcliff to offer diploma, associate’s degree, and bachelor’s degree programs.At the Bethpage campus, the school offers associate degree programs in applied science, criminal justice, graphic design, networking and computer technology, and paralegal studies. Bachelor’s degrees are offered in accounting, information technology, management, marketing, criminal justice, and graphic design. Briarcliff College also has campuses in Patchogue and Queens.

Description: This full-service, community-oriented hospital is affiliated with the North Shore Long Island Jewish Health System. It was established in May 1999. Currently the emergency department cares for more than 37,000 patients per year. A full range of other medical and surgical services are offered, including an ambulatory surgery unit, the Center for Sleep Medicine, hyperbaric medicine and wound healing, critical care, and an endoscopy unit. New Island Hospital is part of the Long Island Health Network, which is a network of 10 hospitals that work together to provide better and lower-cost care for patients.
