Description: You’re probably familiar with the concept of a genuine Irish pub—an upbeat and fun place to socialize and drink. Well, in addition to offering this type of authentic Irish pub atmosphere, Tom McBrien’s serves up genuine Irish cuisine. During the week, a prix fixe dinner menu is offered for just $19.95 per person (Mon through Thurs). On Sat between 4 and 10 p.m., the restaurant offers its popular Chef’s $25.95 Prix Fixe, which includes an appetizer, entree, and dessert. Sun brunch is served from noon to 3 p.m.Open for lunch and dinner, Tom McBrien’s features Throw Back Thursdays, where $5 burgers, $10 shepherd’s pie, and $13 fish-and-chips are offered throughout the day and night. It’s primarily a seafood restaurant that specializes in lobster, snow crab legs, and clams. On Sun, happy hour lasts from 4 until 7 p.m., and deeply discounted drink specials are in abundance. For Sun brunch, Tide Runners is famous for its twin one-pound lobster meal, which includes corn and a baked potato, for just $29.95 per person. The Sun brunch special is served between noon and 3 p.m. only. With docks located right outside the restaurant, people come here by car or boat, for lunch or dinner, seven days a week.
