Description: This is a popular seafood restaurant in Nassau County that closes for the winter, reopening in Mar. Paddy McGees offers a traditional fish house/bar atmosphere, making it the ideal stop for dinner after spending a day at Lido Beach, for example. The house specialty is lobster, but the menu features a wide range of mouth-watering seafood dishes. American oysters and littleneck clams, lobster bisque, and New England clam chowder are among the appetizers offered, while some of the entrees include a pan-roasted jumbo lump crab cake, BBQ shrimp, grilled Northern Atlantic salmon, and a catch of the day. Paddy McGees serves lunch and dinner during the spring and summer months, but is open for private parties only in the fall and winter.
