Description: This Dutch colonial home, which was built in 1906, has been transformed into a lovely, upscale B&B located in historic Orient. Here you’ll find five nicely decorated and comfortable guestrooms, each with a private bathroom. A full breakfast is served every morning, either in the dining room or on the open-air porch that surrounds the main house.The Orient Inn is located about 3 miles from the Cross Sound Ferry dock, so if you’re coming from Connecticut or New England via the ferry, its location on the tip of Long Island is convenient. The B&B welcomes adults only. Pets are also welcome, but smoking is only permitted outside on the porch. Nearby activities include hiking, fishing, swimming, boating, golfing, and wine tasting at the nearby vineyards.
