Description: Open for dinner only, at Rugosa guests will find modern American cuisine in a relaxed, yet refined atmosphere. Chef and owner Bill Mammes has a broad background in European flavors and classic French cooking techniques. The menu doesn’t offer a lot of selections, but what is offered are top-quality, expertly prepared dishes. Entrees include pan-roasted monkfish, seared local scallops, roasted cod, seared Long Island duck breast, pan-roasted chicken breast, roasted lamb loin, and grilled New York strip steak. Choose from the a la carte menu, or opt for the three-course prix fixe menu, which is available between 5:30 and 7 p.m. Fri and Sat, and all night Sun through Thurs.
