Description: Exactly one-half of the way between downtown Portland and Mount Hood, this is a dandy place for 18 regulation holes of golf. Mountain View offers plenty of hazards and hills throughout its 5,926 yards and affords a terrific view of Mount Hood. Be sure to ask about hole number 12; with an 18-story drop from the T-box to the green, it is a huge attraction—one of the most unusual holes in the state. Lessons are available. Tee times can be reserved seven days in advance.
