Description: Search the West and you’d be hard-pressed to discover a restaurant more inviting than Roma’s in Spearfish. With a beautiful new building in 2010, you’ll find this restaurant open and airy, but the bonus is in the food. The owner and executive chef, Leigh Kamstra, calls it, “Italian with a twist.” Even though it’s upscale, it’s not stuffy. Attire is casual. Roma’s signature dishes include smoked pheasant ravioli, traditional lasagna, and the carbonara, as well as the house-baked bread and the house salad with balsamic vinaigrette topped with goat cheese. But diners also discover an exceptional blend of chicken dishes, pastas, steaks, seafood, and vegetarian selections, as well as a wine bar. Private room available as well as outdoor seating. Hours: Lunch 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Mon through Sat, dinner 4 p.m. to close every day. Live music on Fri and Sat.
