5-202.14 - --In the meat department a floor sink faucet, equipped with an atmospheric vacuum breaker (AVB), has a hose attached with a downstream spray nozzle attached that places the system under continuous pressure. This is an inappropriate application for the AVB device. COS: The spray nozzle was removed from the hose.
KDA_2_40111 - --In the dairy WIC an opened employee drink was stored on top of boxes of cheese ready for retail sale. COS: PIC removed drinks
KDA_3_30211A1b - --In a meat retail case raw turkey bacon was stored directly above fully cooked ham. COS: Cooler was rearranged for proper storage.
KDA_3_50116A2 - --In the sour cream display cooler sour cream was held at 48F. Per the PIC the product was held at 41F or below within the previous 2-3 hours. The ambient temperature of the unit was measured at 40-42F at the time. COS: All product was removed from this section of the cooler and placed in the dairy WIC to rapidly cool. Refrigeration repair was called for immediate service.
KDA_4_60111A - --A plastic fruit corer had suspect dried mold build up on the plastic surfaces of the utensil. COS: Utensil was removed from service.
KDA_4_60111C - --In the produce WIC the fan guards have dust/soil build up. In the sour cream display cooler the racks in the cooler have suspect mold/soil build up. The interior sub-surface below the bottom rack has 3 dead flies accumulated.
KDA_5_20515B - --At the bakery 3-vat sink a leak is emanating from the gasket of the sanitizer vat and onto the floor and into a nearby floor drain.
