This morning my boyfriend stopped at this subway at approximately 625am. The door was unlocked and a white female Merrillville school bus driver was standing at the counter finishing her order when I noticed he was stopped at the door and came back out very upset. Apparently the barely English speaking Latino woman told him she couldn't serve him because she was the only one there...... baffled of course he has opened the door and my window is down and I hear him say to her why are you serving her then if you're not suppose to serve anyone? At this point the bus driver grabs her food and scurried past to not get caught up in the lie of the worker. She clearly also has short term memory as the worker then immediately attempted to lie and say she just came to sit with me until someone else gets here. Again the biggest lie as the again also the bus driver grabbed her goods hot tailed it out the door to her waiting school bus and pulled away. We left and I attempted to call to get the managers name as well as hers and she the worker answered the phone and when I told her what I needed she hung up on me. I called back she answered the phone again by saying what do you want? I told her the managers name is what I needed she then said Tina and she knows all about it I don't care if you call her. I am absolutely appalled that this is how he was treated when he picks his lunch up from here 2 to 3 times a week. On Monday the door was also locked at 630am due to no one being there when your door clearly states the hours of operation and at 630am it should have been open. I need this issue handled because no one should be treated this way....Ever
