Big fan of subway. I eat at my local store 2264 may 3 times a month. Sometimes more. I've gotten catering in the past. This store has changed. Workers are down right rude but I've put up with it. Not today. Today, after my uncle was sick and passed away and I've not eaten very much, all I wanted was subway. Order my food and my husbands and the total was over 20 bucks. All I had was a 50 dollar bill. Instead of politely saying, "I'm sorry, we no longer accept these" or "I can't break this", she said, " we don't take 50's. I was heartbroken. I went to the truck calling to see if some other restaurant was open, as this is a holiday, and the same girl looked around the corner staring at me and I could see her talking when another lady came to stare and talk. I'm not sure what they thought but the other lady came out the door and said she had the change. She was standing there when I ordered and knew what was going on. She had change then. But by this time my feelings were hurt and I didn't want it. If this is a rule it should be posted and if it was just that they were short on change then it could have been handled differently. I'm a manager at Pizza Hut and customer service is my strong suit. This is unacceptable. Don't think I'll be back.
