our restaurant was started in 1970 by Onofrio and Lucrezia Serra , who came to america shortly after their wedding in 1969. They came from Palermo Sicily , were they were both born and raised. Shortly after moving to st. louis they bought an already opened doughnut shop, and ran it selling doughnuts in the morning and pizza and pasta for dinner. After about a year they stoped the sale of doughnuts and made only pizzas and some other italian foods. In 1980 they moved across the street to there own building were it still is today. It has grown over the years adding on and expanding. Today the family has grown to over 20 and still growing. So at anytime you come in you can see mom and pop still there with many other helping hands!!
