- Thompson Therapy was founded in Provo in 2014 and provides services to couples, families, individuals, and children in both English and Spanish. Before starting my private practice, I had the opportunity to work with court mandated clients at Alliance Clinical Services in American Fork. This experience provided me with increased ability to work with challenging cases involving domestic violence, drugs and alcohol, and sexual abuse. I have enjoyed working with challenging cases and have been able to help many couples and individuals that have been to multiple therapists before coming to me. I have worked with marital problems, depression, anxiety, addiction (substance abuse and sexual), trauma, and multiple other mental health issues. I feel like my background in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) has helped to enlighten all of these areas. I also believe that my religious background in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has helped provide me with principles that have helped my clients improve their lives.
