UNCOVERED BEAUTY ELECTROLYSIS offers professional, courteous, and confidential service to anyone suffering with the problem of unwanted hair. Unwanted hair can cause serious psychological and self-esteem problems for some individuals, thereby affecting their lifestyle and relationships in all areas of life. It is my desire to provide electrolysis services to everyone wanting to remove unwanted hair, whether for health reasons or just to look better, but especially to those individuals whose lives will be improved by removing unwanted hair.
ELECTROLYSIS is a very simple but time consuming process and involves the use of very few items.
Electrolysis Machine - to perform electrolysis.
Magnifying Light - to see the hair follicle.
Alcohol (or witch hazel) - to clean the treatment area.
Probe - so small its barely felt at insertion.
Tweezers - to SLIDE the hair out after treatment.
Cooling Gel - to calm the treated area.
* A VERY BASIC EXPLANATION OF THE ELECTROLYSIS PROCESS *
A very small probe is inserted into the follicle and a short
pulse is sent through the probe. The root is destroyed, the
blood supply is cut-off and hair can no longer grow in that
follicle.
Electrolysis is safe for men and women of all races and ages (but I recommend that pre-teens and those over 65 consult a physician before treatment), and can be performed on all body parts except inside the nose and ears.
Hair is hair; it grows the same way and is treated the same way on everyone. Most of my customers never had electrolysis treatment previously and were pleasantly surprised by the whole process. Several of them fell asleep during treatment.
The first session is usually a free consultation to explain the process of electrolysis, after-care of the treated skin, and a question and answer session. I am very patient with the customer and take as much time as needed to ensure that she/he understands the process and is comfortable with it before starting treatment. With one customer in particular, I went so far as to perform electrolysis on myself so she could see the process. She started her treatment the same day and SHE ALMOST FELL ASLEEP WHILE RECEIVING TREATMENT. If the customer so desires, treatment can begin after the free consultation.

-I am a Licensed Electrolygist.
-Licensed 2002 by the North Carolina Board of Electrolygists.
-To reduce overhead expenses and avoid passing the added cost on
to my customers, I work out of my home office located near
Premier Landing (Walmart Shopping Center).
-My office is inspected on a yearly basis and I am up to code.
-Service is BY APPOINTMENT ONLY.
-Office hours
Mon - Fri 10am - 8pm
Saturday 9am - 5pm
There are some exceptions.
