• Mixon Realty & Rentals opened its doors for the first time on Monday, July 9, 2007. We offer our services to those who are looking to settle down in the St. Stephen area by assisting them in finding a home or business to purchase or a place to rent, whichever the case may be. We also offer our services to those who have residential property, commercial property or vacant land in the area that they would like to sell. In addition, we offer a full Property Management service for those who have rental properties to be managed. Our office is conveniently located on Highway 52, (Byrnes Drive) across the street from the Family Dollar Store. Our Broker-In-Charge, Barbara Mixon, formerly Barbara Mozingo grew up in St. Stephen and is well known by many of the local residents. Barbara attended the local public schools in St. Stephen and went on to get her Bachelor of Arts Degree at the Baptist College at Charleston, now known as Charleston Southern University. She also took Real Estate Courses at Trident Technical College, Marie Spodek's School of Real Estate and the Charleston Trident Association of Realtors School. She originally got her Agent's license in January, 1989, and her Broker's license in February, 1990. Barbara is currently a member of the National Association of Realtors, the South Carolina Association of Realtors, the Charleston-Trident Association of Realtors, and the Charleston-Trident Multiple Listing Service. At the present time, Mixon Realty & Rentals is the only full service residential and commercial Real Estate office in the Town of St. Stephen. Although other companies have agents that work the area, our office is local and we are more familiar with the local area and property values. It is also more convenient for us to show local properties than it is for an agent from another city, due to the commute time involved and the cost of gas. Our St. Stephen office services the St. Stephen, Alvin, Macedonia, Bonneau, Russellville, Pineville, and all surrounding areas in North Berkeley County.
