We are a small but busy company that performs professional ash scattering of Human and Pet cremains in the Atlantic Ocean. We pride ourselves with our intimate but detailed ceremonies. Most people who love the water and wish to be buried at sea, probably enjoyed the personnel connection from using their own boats, family or Pet outings. This is why we offer our services. We are not like the larger commercial companies. We are more flexible in every way. South Shore Sea Burials will also travel to most South Shore locations of Long Island, Brooklyn, Queens and NYC if one is desired by the family because of personnel reasons or experiences. We only perform one sea burial at a time (unlike larger companies who may do several at one time). We offer attended, unattended and Inlet viewing service sea burials. Let us arrange a waterside lunch, dinner or cocktails after the memorial service at one of our local waterfront restaurants. Special SUNSET sea burials can also be provided if requested. We also provide a pick up service for human and pet cremains. South Shore Sea Burials provides the family with a LETTER OF DISSEMINATION which is suitable for framing and includes the name of the deceased, day, date, depth and Latitude/Longitude coordinates. We also prepare all papers required by N.Y.S. and work hand in hand with Attorneys/Accountants in order to settle Estates.
