We are in the business of repairing, staining and engraving plain, gray and even discolored cured existing concrete, changing the concrete color and cutting a pattern into it. It is not an overlay, resurfacing or topping that can delaminate. A wide variety of designs, patterns and logos are available along with a huge color selection. For industrial and commercial customers we also provide permanent safety markings on concrete for OSHA regulations eliminating the need to constantly repaint safety lines. Family History: Founders and brothers, William and Henry Adams, established Adams Brothers Construction in Zanesville, Ohio in 1888, which was incorporated and became Adams Bros., Inc. in 1908, and has built a reputation in the community in the contracting and then ready-mixed concrete business over many decades and four generations. ABCD's History: Building on that family foundation, Annette Adams Kendall, great-granddaughter of William, beginning in 2005 investigated ideas to diversify while continuing to leave a "concrete" mark on this same community. The new firm of Adams Best Concrete Design, LLC is being established by Annette Adams Kendall, and her mission is to add distinctive value, beauty, and curb appeal to concrete (which may be old, but still structurally sound) in Muskingum and surrounding counties. ABCD's business philosophy is a simple one: Excellence in fulfilling the promise. ABCD is in business to provide a solution to homeowners, businesses, and industries who are troubled with the high cost and mess of replacing concrete because, though still structurally sound, their concrete has settled, has minor cracks and imperfections, and/or is just gray and visually unappealing. Repairing, staining, and engraving concrete is fast, clean and surroudings are undisturbed. There is no intrusive demolition nor is the concrete and surrounding landscaping replaced, saving customers time, mess, and money. A wide variety of colors,designs, patterns and logos are available, limited only by imagination. RAC stains will produce natural variations of color due to the chemical process which will create more depth and interest in the coloring. If uniform color is desired, the use of pigmented stains would be used. This process can be used on any interior or exterior, vertical or horizontal concrete surfaces. The engraved pattern will last the lifetime of the concrete and holds up extremely well with age, high traffic and in cold weather climates. In fact, many engraved patterns look even better as they age. It is also very unlike an overlay, resufacing or topping that can begin to delaminate in just a few years.
