Alaska House is a catering facility located inthe historic downtown area of Chillicothe. The structure was built in 1917 and has housed many, many businesses in almost 100 years including a fish processor, a hotel, a furniture store, a taxi company and there are rumors of a brothel! In 2007, Bruce King and Licha Kelley-King bought the building, which had not been occupied for several years, to remodel it into a catering/meeting space and eventually a bed & breakfast. Bruce has restored the original pressed tin ceiling in the 5000 square foot first floor, installed fireplaces and a wood floor, making this meeting space of the most impressive, beautiful catering facilities in the area.
The catering choices are very upscale, very carefully prepared in our private, on site kitchen. Everything is prepared by the owners and catering to guests' whims are a specialty. Innovative, interesting, delicious entrees served on crisp white linens with quality flatware, glassware and china makes every event special and spectacular. This facility is a gracious setting for meetings, dinners, reunions and events. Did I mention the desserts?! call Alaska House for quality catering.
