Lake George Bait & Tackle opened in July, 2002. We have knowledgeable friendly employees. Family oriented business which sells all types of live bait, including crickets for pets. Some of our popular products are the neon-green night crawlers, and the light-up bobbers for night time fishing. We rent leisure electric or non-electric peddle boats, and fishing jon boats. We have life vests for boaters as small as babies! We are right on the lake. You can pull up in your boat to buy bait, tackle and supplies. We have Ice fishing supplies in winter time and have competititive prices. We also rent out dock slips and plan to expand in the future.
We are open 6 am to 8 pm daily. We have a CLEAN atmosphere and property. Selling tackle, munchies, drinks, all types of bait, lures, ice fishing supplies, poles, etc. Not as big as the big box stores, but we make up for it in the home-town friendliness, and great service with a smile!
