The Cast Iron Cafe is an old fashioned diner serving the Fox Chapel, O'Hara Township, Harmar, Cheswick, Springdale, Tarentum, Oakmont and Natrona Heights areas. We serve breakfast and lunch from 7AM until 2PM, except on Mondays, when we are closed. We are located in the rear of the Cheswick Shopping Center behind Pizza Hut.
Our breakfasts include real, homemade dishes like buttermilk pancakes (made with real buttermilk), Italian bread french toast, fresh eggs omelets (like our feta and spinach), real home fries from Idaho potatoes and our own pork sausage made from fresh pork roast and our own blend of spices.
Lunches include a Reuben piled high with corned beef and swiss, a choice of burgers, onion rings, fries, fried cod and pollock sandwiches, hot roast beef sandwich and a smorgasboard of soups like brocolli cheddar, cream of tomato, chile, Italian wedding and more. All soups are made fresh in our kitchen from basic ingredients.
