Marcela's Heritage is located in the center of town, off E.E. Dunlap Street (behind the G&G Loan Co.) We opened on 10/2002 and the business is managed by myself and my sister, Gloria Vela. We are a crafts and clothing store and take pride in making many of the items ourselves. The idea for the store was to bring back many of the old crafts such as quilting, embroidery work, and sewing children's clothing. We also have our own camouflage design clothing: Brush Country Cactus (TM) which is very popular to South Texas. We have women's clothing and "Jose Barrera" jewelry from New York City. We do all types of alterations and are competitively priced in our work. I recently became an Avon Representative and you can get your brochure and place your orders here. In addition, I am selling student T-shirts for the San Diego area and do monogramming on T-shirts, plus anything else you might desire. We have nursing scrubs in all sizes at reasonable prices. You can find our store by coming into San Diego on South Highway 44, go down to the third light and turn left, go down two blocks and turn right on St. Charles, Marcela's Heritage is located on the right side of the street.
