We are a small Mom & Pop Tavern where you are only a stranger once. We offer a Menu from Fresh Cut Hand Breaded and Grilled Tenderloins to Burgers, Grilled Chicken Salad, Fried Munchies to the ever popular $1 Chucky Burgers. We offer Coke products and a wide variety of Alcohol Beverages. We stock a large amount of Beers from Local & Craft, Domestics and Imported. We accept Cash, Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express. No problem parking in the large paved lot and fun in the summer on the outside patio. Plenty of Motorcycle parking and a Bicycle rack for those that like to travel on two wheels. The Gold Brick Tavern was built in 1959 and has been at this location since it opened in 1960. This used to be the heart of Lawrence and maybe will be again. You are almost guaranteed to know someone when you come in the door, from the Check Out Lady from Marsh to someone from Church, or maybe someone from your neighborhood or a School friend you haven't seen in years. We are off the beaten path but well worth the trip.
