- The Bagel Emporium was established in 1982 as a small retail store in Hartsdale, New York. We have stayed the course making our bagels the old fashioned way, never taking shortcuts, never sacrificing our goal to provide a genuine New York Bagel from our original family recipe. Bagel Emporium has received numerous awards and recognition in the community. In 2014, we again received The Best of Westchester Magazine Award for The Best Bagels in Westchester County.
