I have been to quite a few Indian Restaurants in Toronto and this is the absolute worst I have EVER been to. The design of this restaurant looks like they are in mid renovations.... but they aren't. No authenticity at all. The servers are very self absorbed and ignored myself and my girlfriend waiting to be seated. After a few minutes of awkward waiting, we decided that we should make a move towards the bar where all the servers were chatting. We sat down at the bar and were still ignored! We had to ask for menus and then after 20 minutes of sitting with our menus closed, we had to ask if we could finally place our orders. Keep in mind that there were FOUR servers and TWO tables occupied while this was happening, so being busy was not even a valid excuse. (Side note: while we were being ignored, we watched a server make a drink and then pick something out of it with her hands and then serve it to the table... GROSS!!) It honestly felt like the only way we would ever get things going was if we went back to the kitchen and cooked the food ourselves! It took another 30 minutes for our food to arrive which makes sense considering they only had 1 person in the kitchen... I ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala with Naan and my girlfriend ordered Paneer Tikka Masala with Basmati Rice. To add on to the already terrible experience, the food was TERRIBLE!!! It was such a weak attempt at Tikka Masala!! The chicken tasted as if it was boiled and mixed in with a bland tomato sauce and way too many red, green and yellow peppers, I could have googled a better recipe.... I refuse to even call the bread they served Naan considering it was a dry gross pita and NOT Naan. Overall, I would never go back to this restaurant EVER AGAIN!
