Davenport is a health care center for the Quad City metropolitan area. Genesis Medical Center is a 502-bed facility in two campuses; the West Central Park and East Rusholme Street facilities offer more than 450 physicians and 3,100 staff members. Palmer College operates four chiropractic clinics in the city. Other medical facilities accessible from Davenport include Trinity Medical Center in Rock Island and Moline, Illinois, and Genesis Medical Center Illini Campus in Silvis. Davenport residents have access to the University of Iowa Medical Center, one of the world's largest university-owned research hospitals.
