[2] Food (ice) contact surfaces: designed; constructed; maintained; installed; located -Observed pink mold like substance in the ice machine. Ensure ice machine is cleaned; sanitized and discard first batch of ice after sanitizing machine within 48 hours; 07/22/15; Ensure ice machine is cleaned on a more routine basis to reduce mold like build up.
[2] Accurate thermometers; chemical test kits provided; gauge cock (1/4" IPS Valve) -Facility did not have test strips to test sanitizer levels. Ensure test strips are available within 7 days; 07/27/15; so sanitizer is maintained between 50 - 100 ppm Chlorine or about 200 ppm Quat.
[1] Non-food contact surfaces: designed; constructed; maintained; installed; located -Observed water at the bottom of the beer reach in cooler. Ensure reach in cooler is not leaking water within 7 days; 07/27/15; for proper upkeep and maintenance of the facility.
[2] Toilet rooms: self closing doors; fixtures maintained; clean; hand soap/drying devices provided; proper waste receptacle -Handsink did not have a knob for hot water. Ensure knob for hot water is fixed within 7 days; 07/27/15. Ensure handsink has hot and cold running water at all times to allow proper hand washing.
General Comments that relate to this Inspection Notes: Discussed hand washing policy and employee sick policy. Ensure employees sick with gastrointestinal symptoms ie. vomiting; diarrhea; jaundice; stay out of work at least 48 hours after symptoms have stopped.-Handsink clean and stocked.-Restrooms clean and stocked.-Customer ice set up properly.-Observed good scoop storage.-Drink spray guns and storage wells were clean.-Floors were clean.-Alcohol advisory was posted.-No signs of pests or vermin.-Reach in cooler at 35F. Bottled beer only.-3 compartment sink not set up during inspction. Per operator they wait until they have dishes to wash before setting up the sink so that water is hot. Facility is using Chloring tablets.
