Goosecross Cellars

Goosecross Cellars is located at State Lane in Yountville, Napa Valley, California and is approximately 10 miles from Napa Town Center. This winery opens daily from 10am to 4.30pm except New Year's Day, Easter Sunday, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day when it remains closed. Goosecross was founded in 1985 and is a family owned winery that produces wine available to buy only on site here.

Visitors are welcome to taste the wide variety of red and white wines in the winery's barrel cellar. One and a half hour tours of the 10 acre vineyard estate are also available and are led by an expert, who explains the wine making techniques employed here. Tours are limited to eight people and conducted on Saturdays between May and October from 2pm.

The winery produces a good variety of red and white wines ranging from Merlot and Pinot Noir to Chardonnay and Chenin Blanc. Visitors can also pick up some gift items including wine bottles dipped in chocolate or etched wine bottles with messages for special occasions such as Christmas and birthdays. Various gourmet food items are sold here too such as Belgian chocolates, tapenades and smoked salmon.
