This agency serves a nine-county area in coastal Georgia and assists parents searching for child care by presenting them with lists of referrals of licensed and registered child-care providers. Parents are also provided with information on how to choose quality child care, and these services are provided at no cost to families. Parenting counseling is also available from Lutheran Ministries, which administers the A+ Parents program. This program provides support for people striving to be good parents and is a collaborative effort of Lutheran Ministries and the University of Georgia Extension Service in Chatham County.
