Description: Located in a charming old building in the historic Highland District, this bakery/eatery is named after the precious and somewhat shy daughter of Sopan and Lisa Tike. While the cakes, cookies, breads, and baklava are absolutely delicious, demonstrating Sopan’s superior training at a culinary college in Mumbai, India, do not miss the fine and fresh breakfast croissants and the soups, salads, and sandwiches served for lunch. Breakfast is served until 10:30 a.m., so come enjoy a cup of joe and an egg and cheese croissant; of course you can add ham or bacon to it if you like. For lunch try the famous chicken salad croissant, then buy a container of the salad to take with you. Wraps, paninis, and po’boys are also served, with your choice of chips or a cookie and a pickle spear. A variety of pizzas are also available. Ask about the soup of the day; always made from fresh ingredients.
