Description: If you read our History chapter, you know about Murder Rock. Bushwhacker Alf Bolin’s favorite place for road robbery has been incorporated into Branson’s newest golf course and semi-private club in the Branson Creek Residential Community. Located near the new Branson airport, the golf club is designed to serve Branson Creek’s multiple neighborhoods and has a community clubhouse with dining with the longest view in Branson, a members lounge and bar, pro shop, fitness room, tennis, and swimming. Designed by Landmark Land Company Inc., the 18-hole Championship Golf Course enhances the magnificent landscape of the Ozarks, incorporating the natural beauty of the land with lush fairways and pristine greens.The course plays to a par 71, and ranges in length from 6,600 yards from the tournament tees to 5,000 yards from the forward tees. Patrons are treated to a wonderful variety of golf holes by design: exciting par 5s, challenging par 4s, and dramatic par 3s. Rates are $50 to $80, including cart rental, depending on the time of the year and the day of the week. To find the Murder Rock Course, go 4.2 miles south of Branson on US 65 to the Branson Creek Development Entry, then east on Branson Creek Boulevard. Continue on Branson Creek Boulevard to Golf Club Drive and turn right following to the property’s highest elevation. As we say in the Ozarks, “You can’t miss it.”
