Description: An old-school soda shop and restaurant, Petrow’s serves diner food, pie, breakfast, and some seriously good malts and milkshakes. A full breakfast menu has everything a diner could dream of: steak and eggs, waffles and pancakes, egg dishes of all kinds, omelets, potato casseroles, and homemade cinnamon and pecan rolls from the bakery. The restaurant is decorated like a 1950s soda shop, with big booths and tables, an old-fashioned soda shop counter, and television sets in a back room, which is great for larger parties. Family and senior citizen friendly, Petrow’s draws a mixed crowd during all hours of the day. The lunch and dinner menu continues down the same track as the breakfast menu: hearty diner classics with a retro twist. Burgers, sandwiches, French dips, hot beef sandwiches, chili, and pork tenderloins. Shakes and malts come in a wide variety of flavors. Petrow’s serves beer and wine; a full list is available at the restaurant.
