Description: Formerly the Tucson Sidewinders, an affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks, the Reno Aces took up residence in their new $50 million ballpark in downtown Reno just in time for the opening season of 2009. The design-build stadium (not named as of press time) seats about 6,500 people with room for another 2,500 on the grass hill in right field. Local fans are very enthusiastic about the first-time arrival of a Triple-A minor league team of their very own. Team owners, SKBaseball, plan to keep ticket prices low enough to encourage families to attend games, with prices for single game adult seats starting at $9 and going up to $25 for box seats behind home plate.
