Patty Miller opened in 1991 and was the heart and soul of Big Hair. It's not as simple as that, but it's a beginning. For decades, Patty's magnetic attitude, spirit, and ability to connect with everyone, not only in her chair but in her life in general, made her an important part of Roscoe Village and the Chicago community. On March 14th of 2013 Patty passed, leaving a noticeable void on many levels. Many miss this amazing woman, and want to help carry on her dream that was Big Hair. Big Hair now has new management, with the blessing of Patty Miller's family. We are excited to bring back a fixture of the neighborhood, and to honor Patty's memory by continuing to provide cuts, color, and Big Hair attitude.
