SIGNIFICANT AMT OF BIRD DEBRIS BUT NO APPARENT PHYSICAL DMG TO WINDSHIELD. SHORTLY AFTER THAT, A MASTER CAUTION SOUNDED, OBSERVED ENG 1 OUT AMBER CAUTION MESSAGE ON THE EICAS. OIL PRESSURE INDICATIONS WERE CONSISTANT WITH A FAILURE OF THE #1 ENGINE. DECLARED AN EMERGENCY AND REQUESTED CFR BE ON STANDBY. FINAL APRCH AND LANDING WERE RELATIVELY UNEVENTFUL BUT DID OBSERVE THE LOSS OF IAS INDICATION ON MY PFD. CAPT STOPPED A/C USING BRAKES AND REVERSE THRUSTER FROM #2 ENGINE. AFTER CLEARING RWY THE CAPT STOPPED THE A/C AND SECURED THE #1 ENGINE PER THE EPC. TAXIED TO GATE UNDER OWN POWER. PAX DEPLANED NORMALLY. OBSERVED SIGNIFICANT BIRD DEBRIS IN BEHIND THE FAN AND IN THE EXHAUST SECTION OF THE #1 ENGINE. ALSO OBSERVED A SMALL AMT OF BIRD DEBRIS IN THE INTAKE ON THE #2 ENGINE. THIRD IMPACT SITE ON THE RT HAND SIDE OF THE NOSE IMMEDIATELY FRWD OF THE #2 PITOT TUBE. #2 PITOT TUBE HAD A SMALL AMT OF BIRD DEBRIS ON IT BUT APPEARED OTHERWISE UNDAMAGED. BASE TO FINAL TURN OVER THE CITY OF LAFAYETTE. REPLACED #1 ENGINE. NOSE SUSTAINED HEAVY DENTS FIST SIZED.
