I am looking for information on the airport in the 1940's. Or if there was another airport. I was born in Ellsworth, now 64 years ago and my father owned, or operated (I think) an airport and I believe the name was Ellsworth flying service. Can you give me any information about the operation and running of the airport back in 1948. I'm trying to get some information about what my father did. His name was Lloyd A. Winter.
I would appreciate anything you can give me.
