I WAS LICENSED YEARS AGO AT JACKSON COUTY UNDER E. JONES WAS WONDERING IF YOU HAVE PLANE RENTAL AVAILABLE AND IF TERMINAL AND RUNWAY IMPROVEMENTS HAVE BEEN COMPLETED

I am with the Smoky Mountain Flying Club and it is our understanding that we and our aircraft have been banned from the Jackson County Airport. We would like to know what the circumstances are that caused this ban as it has cost the club additional monies to move the aircraft. Under what authority was this done, and what does the airport authority think it is doing in investigating our private non-profit club, 301 (7) (C). One member, without permission of the club, had a deputy assigned to our recent meeting. What is so unusual about this? Every town meeting and political meeting has a deputy there to keep the peace. People naturally get passionate about their ideas. For a short time, we had an idiot by the name of Bill Austin as VP. He was voted out at the last meeting. We would like to know why we were banned as we are a responsible group of senior flyers with excellent character references.
