Domaine Carneros


Domaine Carneros, located at 1240 Duhig Road, Napa, CA, is four miles southwest of Napa, five miles southeast of Sonoma and 50 miles north of San Francisco. Situated on top of a hill, the winery provides stunning view of the surrounding vineyard-covered hills.

Lead by head winemaker, Eileen Crane, Domaine Carneros produces a variety of sparkling wines as well as Pinot Noir. In 2008, the winery received organic certification for all its vineyards. In addition to the eco-friendly growing practices, the winery installed a solar collection system in their Pinot Noir facility.

The main chateau and terrace are open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. for tasting select wines. Table service for tasting in the salon and terrace is available until 5:45 p.m. Groups of ten or more are welcomed with advance notice.

Domaine Carneros also features daily wine tours at specific times. Reservations are recommended for weekends and public holidays during the months of June through October. Three different private tours and tastings which can accommodate 10 to 30 guests are available as well; reservations are required in advance.

In addition to supporting various causes, Domaine Carneros awards two annual scholarships to women pursuing studies in winemaking are a related culinary field.
