Our Lady of Guadalupe Church


Located in Sacramento, California, Our Lady of Guadalupe Church is a religious site that has been the home of a number of ethnic groups and has a large rose garden around the outside of the church that attracts residents and tourists alike. The church is full of unique architectural design and history. Service is held daily with vigils on the weekends and Confession held Monday and Wednesday through Saturday. Confession may also be made by appointment.

Weddings are a popular event at the church due in part because of the beauty of the church and also because of the lush rose gardens found outside. Most weddings are booked well in advance and it is recommended by the church office to call in advance for reservations and available booking dates. Music, décor, video, and photography can all be booked for the wedding service and receptions. The rose garden is also a popular place for parties but much like weddings must be booked well in advance. Picnics in the rose garden are a popular activity. Residents of Sacramento enjoy the serenity the church and rose garden provide in an escape from the urbanization of the city. The gardens are groomed by volunteers at the church.
