Rubicon Estate

Rubicon Estate is located on St Helena Highway in Napa, Napa Valley, California and is approximately one hour and 20 minutes drive from San Francisco International Airport. It was initially acquired by Gustave Niebaum in 1880 and developed as a winery and is now owned by film director, Francis Coppola. Until 2006 the winery was known as the Niebaum-Coppola Winery but was changed to the name of the estate's flagship wine.

Now visitors can take tours of the estate, which include a look at the historic chateau once owned by Niebaum and wine tasting. There are various tour options available on a daily basis lasting from 30 minutes to two hours. The chateau houses two tasting rooms, a museum, the Mammarella Wine Bar and a retail room.

There are three wine tasting options available here where visitors can choose to taste three wines with cheese and baguettes, three reserve wines or five different wines. The Centennial Museum has artifacts from the Niebaum days when the winery was called Inglenook as well as vintage wines from that period. The Wine Bar enables guests to sit and enjoy an estate wine and a meal either indoors or outside in the Parisian style courtyard.
